heart: inner man, mind, will, soul, understanding, midst, knowledge, thinking, reflection, memory, inclination, resolution, determination (of will), conscience, seat of appetites/emotions/passions/courage/senses/affections, mode of thinking and acting, seat of will and purpose, intellect and wisdom
learn: to be accustomed, to be trained, discipline
rules: judgment, ordinance, measure, custom, manner, plan
God’s law (His Word) and discipline is a wonderful thing.
It my heart to right thinking will bring,
And learning it will lead to praising my King.
